Ross Records are proud to produce CDs of the famous Scottish Ballad, the traditional Scottish Ballad is the name given to a song telling a story. 'Bothy Ballads' were the songs sung in the farm bothy's by the farm workers after a hard days work, they were sung unaccompanied and are associated mainly with the North East of Scotland and the local dialect called 'Doric'.
