Scottish Accordion Music
Ross Records have been producing Scottish Accordion Music since the late 1970's. We have been lucky to have the late great 'Jimmy Shan' in our collection of Accordion Music.
The format has changes over the years and more recently CDs have become the most popular format. In our current catalogue we have a series of CDs called 'Buttons and Keys' referring of course to the button key accordion. This very popular CD collection features some very well known names.

Buttons and Keys Volume 2 features Addie Harper and The Wick Band 'Pride of The North' playing tunes including Ceud Mile Failte (A Hundred Thousand Welcomes), The Skye Boat Song, The Lion Standard Quadrille, The North Coast Shuffle, Strip The Willow, Going Home and many more.

Buttons and Keys Volume 3 has the best of Eann Nicolson and The Wick Scottish Dance Band playing tunes including Grand March, Military Two-step, St. Bernards Waltz, Polka´s & Waltz, Canadian Three Step, Pride of Erin Waltz and many more.

Buttons and Keys Volume 4 has the best of Jimmy Shand Jnr and his Scottish Dance Band playing 29 tunes and dances in all including Mist Covered Mountains, Dashing White Sergeant, Eva Three Step, Rousseau's Dream, Diane's Waltz, Jeannie with the Light Brown Hair, Old Tyme Waltz, Virginia Reel, Pipe Marches and Scottish Waltz to name but a few!

Scottish Accordion Music has certainly a wide appeal to all ages and these dances are enjoyed at Ceilidhs and Weddings all over Scotland. Ross Records also have other famous accordionists in the CD catalogue including Will Starr, Tommy Darky, Bobby Coghill, Graham Geddes, Gordon Pattullo and Sandy Reid.
