Featured on this DVD: Spectacular winter scenery in the Borders after a heavy snowstorm in March 2001: Springtime in Edinburgh's Royal Botanic Gardens, lambs in the fields, horses and tractors ploughing and sowing corn. Rhododendron and azaleas in bloom in a wood at the Hirsel near Coldstream. A visit to a seabird centre at North Berwick and seabirds on the Bass Rock. We then have a boat trip to the Isle of May, the home of a vast number of seabirds including the ever endearing puffins.Summertime: Great scenery around Loch Earn, St. Fillans, Comrie, Glen Lednock and Crieff, then through the hills to Aberfeldy, Kenmore and Loch Tay. See the Falls of Dochart at Killin, Blairgowrie and the Mikleour beech hedges before viewing Perthshire countryside from Kinnoull Hill. There is then a visit to Perth, a winner of Britain in Bloom several times. In Aberdeen we see the roses at Hazelhead. Cutting the corn with a binder is next followed by modern farming with a combine harvester. We then go to Callander and the Queen Elizabeth Forest Park. Beautiful autumn scenes near Crieff and Blair Atholl follow and then on again to Edinburgh's Botanic Gardens and autumn in the Borders and finishing with more snow scenes in the Borders.
