My Scottish Homeland - A Highland Journey

The highlands of Scotland have something for everyone, for people who like to travel, there's a different view round every corner, each area has its own particular character and appeal, attractions and activities. Highlanders value their land, heritage and culture, and are keen to share them with visitors.

A Highland Journey, we travel through Glenshee, in the middle of winter, stopping at the Ski Fields, then to Braemar, visit the Royal Family's Scottish residence at Balmoral Castle on Royal Deeside and Crathie Church, then to Ballater.

Visit spectacular Dunnotter Castle and Stonehaven. Travel to Aberdeen, Elgin, Forres and Nairn, the battlefield at Culloden, then to Fort George. Our next stop is at Inverness, the capital of the Highlands, along the Caledonian Canal, and Loch Ness to Urquhart Castle, then on to Fort Augustas, back to Drumnadrochit and visit the beautiful Glen Affric. We now take the "Road To The Isles", past the Five Sisters Of Kintail, and Eilean Donnan Castle at Dornie. Stop at the Commando Memorial at Spean Bridge. A tour up Glen Nevis. Travel on the Jacobite Steam Train to Mallaig, on the West Highland Railway, stopping at Glenfinnan. From Fort William to Glen Coe and hear the story of the massacre, then by Connel Bridge to Oban. Our journey ends on the historic Isle Of Iona.
