 This is Lochaber land, which includes the infamous setting for the Glencoe massacre; and perhaps the most sublimely-lovely glen in Scotland - Glen Nevis - topped by the highest Ben. 

The main centre is Fort William, surrounded by the villages of Ballachulish, Onich, Ardgour, Strontian, Kingairloch, Banavie, Glenfinnan, Spean Bridge and Lochaline in Morvern and a great variety of scenes in between.
