Working The Soil

A rare opportunity to see the age-old tradition of Ploughing using Suffolk Punches, filmed in the Autumn. It features eight pairs of Suffolk heavy horses, Vintage and Classic tractors all pulling down the land.

The production starts with the "Blessing of the Plough" and ends with Cultivating & Drilling the seed, some of the tractors featured include 1939/42 Fordson"N", Grey Fergies, 1945 Farmell & 1942 Case, Fordson Dexta, Allis Chalmers, David Brown 900/950, the oldest working tractor being a 1918 International Titan, all with Implements "Working The Soil".

This production filmed at Bucklesham plough day 2007.
