Cooley 2004 - Ireland's Biggest Working Festival

Sunday 1st August 2004 saw thousands of people converge on a small peninsula in County Louth to experience and enjoy a bit of "Cooley country".
Following on from the unforgettable Sunday in August 2002, when Cooley festival became a Guinness world record breaker, this years festival had a special feature of pre-1930's tractors at work. Some wonderful machines from the early 20th century were watched doing what they were designed for - tilling the soil and making it ready for the crop.
Probably the best selection of rare pre-1930's machines to be seen in Ireland made a spectacular line up and provided great entertainment for both their owners and the spectators throughout the day.
