Sandy Reid spent his formative years in rural Aberdeenshire where his love of the local dialect and traditional music was born. On retiral from Grampian Police, Sandy devoted moretme to his hobby and has become a firm favourite with North East audiences - particularly for his own compositions - in music and Doric verse. In this video Sandy visits many of the locations which have inspired him to put pen to paper, bringing together the words, music and splendour of Aberdeenshire.
