Bagpipe Tunes
Ross Records have been producing Bagpipe Tunes on CD for decades. We have been lucky to have been involved with Pipe Bands including The Pipes and Drums and Regimental Band of the 1st Bn.
The Royal Scots (The Royal Regiment) and other successful Pipe Band include Turriff & District Pipe Band, Lonach Pipe Band and Wick Royal British Legion Scotland Pipe Band. Ross Records have also produced music from Solo Pipers including Pipe Major Bill Hepburn, Pipe Major Bill Hepburn Jnr, Hamish Munro and David Low.
Right Of The Line
The Pipes and Drums and Regimental Band of the 1st Bn. The Royal Scots (The Royal Regiment) play 14 tunes including Regimental Quick March, March, Strathspey & Reel, Drum Salute, 6/8 Marches, 4/4 Marches and various selections. The Regimental Band play Right Of The Line, Corries Folk Festival, Don't Cry For me Argentina, Moray Firth, Hebridean Lament and Wellington March.
Pipes and Drums on Edinburgh Castle Esplanade
This very popular CD features music recorded live on the esplanade of Edinburgh Castle at the Edinburgh Military Tattoos of 1982 and 1983. Featuring Massed Pipes and Drums of the 1st Battalion The Royal Scots also The Pipes and Drums of the Cameron Highlanders of Ottawa. Tunes include Scotland the Brave, The Black Bear, Bonawe Highlanders, Blue Bonnets o'er the Border, The Skye Boat Song, Dumbarton's Drums and many more.
